The New York Knicks moved on to the NBA Championship finals, walloping the Boston Celtics, 94-78, yesterday in Boston. Sparked by rookie Dean Memminger and Walt Frazier, the New Yorkers came alive in the third period to thrash the ten-time NBA champions.
The Knicks third-quarter rally based on the non-shooting and careless passing of Celtic starters clinched the win for New York.
