Mike Green, a six ft. ten in., 196-pound center from Louisiana Tech, was named the Associated Press's College Division basketball player of the year yesterday.
Green set a school record this year by scoring 22.9 points per game as he led Louisiana Tech to 18 victories and an eighth-place national ranking.
