CONCERNS
--the need for a reform majority on the School Committee to retain and support Superintendent Cheatham.
--better management of the $1800 per student we spend each year, not more money.
--Increased community participation in the form of local review boards to set priorities in each school and evaluate those priorities.
--equal educational opportunities for the mid-Cambridge schools (Morse, King, Webster, Fletcher, Longfellow, and Roberts).
--improved basic education at the elementary level.
--support for innovations like the Alternative Public School, Pilot School, and open classrooms.
