The following are the mid-week New England ski conditions as reported by the Associated Press and ski area operators yesterday:

NEW HAMPSHIRE

Loon Mt.--Fair to good conditions with granular snow and some bare spots. Depth of base, 6.30 inches.

Mt Sunapee--Fair and wet.

Waterville--70 per cent fair with wet snow. Base, 2.20.

Wildcat--Poor to fair with wet, granular snow. Base, 5.15.

VERMONT

Jay Peak--Spring conditions with 1-2 inches of new, wet and granular snow. Base, 26-28.

Killington--Good conditions with six inches of new snow. The man-made surface is wet, loose and granular with some ice and bare spots.

Middlebury Snow Bowl--Spring conditions with base, 5-20.

Stowe--Fair condition with wet, frozen granular snow. Base, 28-36.

Stratton--Fair to good on lower surfaces, limited skiing on upper slopes. Frozen granular snow with base, 14-20.

Sugarbush--Fair conditions with frozen granular snow. Base, 12-24.

MAINE

Saddleback--Spring conditions with base, 16-25.

Squaw Mt.--Fair with near-spring conditions in some spots. Base, 10-30.

Sugarloaf--Fair to good conditions with one inch of new snow this week. Surface is wet. Base, 14-35.

MASSACHUSETTS

Berkshire Snow Basin--Varied conditions, with only a few good surfaces. Base, 2-7. Butternut Basin Good although spring conditions prevail in some spots. Wet snow with a base of 4-30 inches.
