To the Editors of the Crimson:
Disturbed by apparent misrepresentation in the Crimson article "Six Blacks Leave Track Team In Protest" (April 22), the black athletes on the track team insist on making the following points of clarification.
(1) We, the black members of the Harvard Track Team have not severed ourselves from the team, nor have we decided not to complete the remainder of the season.
(2) If we can lend sufficient support to the struggle, and include athletic participation in our time schedule, then we will continue to participate. The factor of sufficient support is solely dependent upon the stability of the situation at Massachusetts Hall.
