The National Academy of Sciences elected the following new members yesterday: Roger W. Brown, professor of Social Psychology; Don W. Fawcett '38, Hersey Professor of Anatomy and Stillman Professor of Comparative Anatomy; Simon S. Kuznets, Baker Professor of Economics emeritus; George Homans '32, professor of Sociology; Reed C. Rollins, Gray Professor of Systematic Botany; Baruj Benacerraf, Fabyan Professor of Comparative Pathology; Alexander Leaf, Jackson Professor of Clinical Medicine; and Maxwell Finland '22, Minot Professor of Medicine emeritus.
Frank Westheimer, Loeb Professor of Chemistry, was elected a councillor of the Academy.
