Careers in government, business and law will be discussed today at Hilles Library in the first of a series of career workshops geared 'to undergraduate black women.
Today's workshop is the first of three being offered this year by the Afro-American Mini-Career Conference Committee and the Office of the Associate Dean of Students at Radcliffe.
The other two workshops will deal with careers in health, medicine and science and careers in education, social services, communication, the arts, design and planning.
Seventy-five students have already pre-registered for the conference, which is being directed by Doris J. Mitchell, assistant dean of students at Radcliffe.
Florence Hicks Nightshade, director of the Women's Action Program in the Health, Education and Welfare Department, will deliver the key note address to the students at 9:30 a.m. following a brief coffee hour.
The three workshops on government, business and law will be offered in the morning and repeated this afternoon.
A panel discussion with women in the three fields will close the conference late this afternoon.
