SPECIAL: Hall of Fame. In 1939, Orson Welles turned down an offer from George S. Kaufman to star in his new play "The Man Who Came to Dinner." Welles preferred to work on a movie which came to be called "Citizen Kane". Now Welles comes to television as Sheridan Whiteside, the role he refused 33 years ago.
