Crimson Has Four Players Picked for All-Star Teams

Fencers Larry Cetrulo and Tom Keller, basketball forward Floyd Lewis, and hockey captain Joe Cavanagh each were selected to their respective league All-Star teams over the weekend.

The Ivy fencing team is determined solely on the basis of won-lost record Cetrulo ranked first among all League fencers with 14 victories at sabre during the season. The Crimson's Keller was first All-Ivy foil, compiling 13 victories in Ivy competition.

Lew's placed fifth in total points on the ballots of Ivy basketball coaches Harvard sophomore James Brown was elected to the All-Ivy second team, while Crimson captain Dale Dover received honorable mention.

For the third consecutive year. Cavanagh was chosen on the first line of the ECAC Division 1 All-Star hockey team. The four top finishers in the RCAC had 41 of the 12 All-Stars with national champion B. U. placing four on the first team and Cornell and Clarkson receiving three selections each.

League champions also dominated the fencing and basketball first team. Titlost Columbia placed four fencers on the Ivy squad while runner-up Princeton had three selections.

Joining Lewis on the first cager team were Penn's Dave Wohl and Corky Calhonn. Dartmouth's Paul Erland, and Princeton's Brian Taylor. Undefeated in League play, Penn had four of its starting five on the first two teams. Quaker reserve Phil Hankinson received honorable mention.
