State Court Upholds Indictment of Student

Overturning a Superior Court ruling, the State Supreme Court Friday upheld a previous indictment against Stephen F. Krasner, a former M.I.T. student. Krasner is accused of participating in last January's takeover of the M.I.T. President's office.

In revoking the previous dismissal of the case, the majority opinion cited an 1853 law prohibiting possession of "burglarious implements."

Krasner is charged with making the battling ram used in the January 15, 1970 takeover by the Rosa Luxembourg chapter of SDS at M.I.T.
