Two more Houses yesterday joined the so-far unanimous student boycott of the Committee on Rights and Responsibilities, leaving only Kirkland and North Houses to decide whether or not to send representatives to the CRR.
South House-with all dorms counted except Briggs-voted 129 to 11 against selecting a representative "given the nature of the CRR and the nature of the procedure of selection." A second question, asking whether students would support sending representatives to the CRR if they were not chosen at random, was defeated 120 to 16.
Marjorie Brodsky '71, President of South House, said that the turnout for yesterday's referendum surpassed any previous ones this year. "A lot of people were waiting for this," she said.
The Dudley House Committee yesterday selected a committee of 11 students to select representatives for the CRR but the committee decided in a meeting last night not to send anyone. "Any member of the House who is dissatisfied and wants to call an Open House meeting or referendum can do so," said Charles B. Levering '73. "However, the results would not be binding on the 11 candidates unless they chose it."
