Water Poloists At MIT Today

The Crimson water polo team will meet MIT, Northeastern and Rensselaer Polytechnic in a two-day round robin tournament at MIT today and tomorrow.

The team returned from Brown on Saturday with triumphs over Brown, Bowdoin and Exeter in its first match of the season. The Crimson players took Bowdoin by a 25-10 margin; edged out Brown 14-12; and, after a 12-3 lead in the first half, finished over Exeter 14-11.

Highlighting the upcoming tournament should be the game against MIT, which will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

"We have a fairly strong starting team, but we're super weak on replacements," said Mike Graff, captain of the waterpolo team. "We won't be as good as last year," he added.

The waterpolo team is suffering the loss of four members of last year's starting lineup. Three were lost through graduation and Peter Hursh, regarded by many as the team's best player, is out with a knee injury.

Graff noted, however, that Doug Forrester, a freshman goalie, holds great promise. Forrester was an All-American from Santa Clara High School in California.
