With a tough weekend victory at Cornell behind it and no games before Dartmouth on Saturday. Harvard's soccer team is using this week to let its injury-plagued members recover before entering the crucial second half of the season.

A big question mark for coach Bruce Munro's fifth-ranked booters is the condition of last year's Ivy scoring champion, captain Charlie Thomas. Thomas stepped on a ball in the Wesleyan game and tore some connective tissue in his lower leg.

Trouble Running

Against Cornell Saturday, the senior inside did not play until the start of the second half. "I couldn't run at all. My leg really hurt and it was best that I was taken out." Thomas said last night. "It's much better now and I can walk better.

In addition to Thomas, senior fullback Phil Axten is still unable to practice due to a possible concussion suffered against Amherst, Emmanuel Ekama, who played against the Big Red, is again having problems with his bruised foot and missed yesterday's practice.
