4 Suspended Students Haven't Been Arrested

Cambridge police have yet to act on a warrant for the arrest of four suspended Harvard SDS students whom the University has had indicted for taking part in campus demonstrations last May.

The indictment, obtained in Third District Court last week, charges the four-who were suspended in December for their part in an earlier protest-with criminal tespass, which carries a maximum penalty of $100 fine and a month in jail.

Harvard routinely forbids suspended students to be present on campus and has taken legal action against one ex-student on a similar charge.

But as of last night, the four-Thomas Bailey. Emily Huntington, Cheyney Ryan, and Daniel Veach-had not yet been picked up.
