The House Committee's decision followed a non-binding referendum in which House members voted 146-107 against sending a representative. According to House by-laws a referendum is binding only if at least 210 of the 419 members vote one way or the other.
"This is a definite indication of student disagreement with the past policies and structure of the old CRR, the proposed structure of the new CRR and the newlydrafted Resolution on Rights and Responsibilities," Lawrence S. DiCara '71, chairman of the Quincy House Committee, said last night.
The House Committee is presently drafting a letter to Dean Dunlop informing him of their action.
