Matmen Romp at Providence; Seven Match Streak Decisive

Putting together a string of seven straight victories last night after again falling behind in the lighter weight classes. Harvard's varsity wrestling team overpowered Brown, 23-13, in Providence.

In raising its record to 2-0, the Crimson wrestlers appeared to gain momentum in the third period of each match, "Brown had good personnel, probably as good as ours but we were in much better shape," coach John Lee said.

"We wrestled overall a little more consistently- Josh Henson in particular- but our physical condition really helped. In the third period their kids really tired," he added.

After Harvard lost the first two matches. Henson pinned his 134-1b. opponent at 7:20 of the third period. "He did a nice job, much better than his performance against Wesleyan," Lee said later.
