Band's Political Satire Presented at Princeton

(Since some of our readers may have been unable to attend last Saturday's game in Princeton, we are printing the complete text of the halftime show presented by the Harvard Band and viewed by "Playboy" magazine.)

Ladies and gentlemen, the Harvard University Band. (Out to "Harvardiana," face Harvard stands.)

Today the band examines what students did with the celebrated "Princeton Plan." (Bang to CRAM.) While some of their cohorts were out working for political candidates, academically-minded Princetonians had their own ideas what to do with the Princeton Plan. (Play. "The Work Song," then jump to MEET.)

Some politically-minded students, who were master debaters at Princeton, found that it was more important to make personal contact with the voters. (Play "Come Together," then jump to HEAT.)

Often, however, the student found that his candidate was beaten badly, because the student's hair caused friction by rubbing too many people the wrong way. (Play "I've Got You Under My Skin.")

The Daily Princetonian reported that a surprising number of Princeton women intended to write advertising copy for their candidates. Most of these coeds (Bang to PLUG.) found the two week period a bit trying, for they were not able in that short time span to gather enough material to create a good advertising spread. (Play "Tiger Rag," then jump to BALL.)

Now that the elections are over, we are sure that each of the Princeton supporters of successful candidates will celebrate his success with an appropriate victory celebration. (Play "Some Enchanted Eyening.") (Two guns, and pray that Mrs. Inept doesn't understand a word.)
