7:30 a.m.-9 a.m.: First meal served in the Harvard Union.

9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30-4 p.m.: Summer School Registration, Memorial Hall.

4:30 p.m.: Language Placement Tests, Emerson Hall 103.

7-10 p.m.: Tryouts for Harvard Summer School Chorus, Choir Room of Memorial Church.

7:30 p.m.: Harvard Summer News Open House, 14 Plympton St.

Tuesday, July 1

Classes begin: Times and places announced on Course directory available at registration and posted on bulletin boards.

8:45 a.m.: Morning prayers, conducted daily in Appleton Chapel of Memorial Church.

2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.: Tryouts for Harvard Summer School Chorus, Choir Room of Memorial Church.

2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.: Tryouts for Cantabrigia Orchestra, Sever Hall 6.

4:30 p.m.: Mathematics proficiency test for Physics S-1, Emerson Hall 105.

7:30 p.m.: Harvard Summer News Open House, 14 Plympton St.

8 p.m.: Summer School Convocation, Sanders Theatre. Guest Speaker is John K. Fairbank, Francis Lee Higginson Professor of History, "The Revolution in China and the USA."
