The Harvard Medical School has established a new community relations committee which will include 14 members from the students body, the faculty, and the administration of the school.
The committee, which was announced yesterday by Dr. Robert H. Ebert, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, plans to work with members of the surrounding community on such matters as low-cost housing and health care planning.
Among the initial matters to be studied by the new committee is a program for the construction of low-cost housing in the Mission Hill area of Roxbury.
The committee will hold its first meeting today.
