A general student-faculty meeting at the School of Education voted Friday to call a "moratorium" on classes through tomorrow, but there has been no official cancellation of classes.

Student-faculty groups meeting in Longfellow Hall over the weekend discussed restructuring the University, restructuring the Ed School, University expansion, amnesty for the University Hall demonstrators, and other issues.

The groups will reconvene after a general meeting at 10 a.m. today and will report to another general meeting at 4 p.m. A meeting in Longfellow at 10 a.m. tomorrow will pass resolutions speaking for the Ed School community.

Dean Theodore R. Sizer said last night that he is calling a faculty meeting for Wednesday to discuss tomorrow's resolutions and other matters. The Ed School Student Cabinet is meeting tonight.
