Booters Meet M.I.T.

Harvard's unbeaten Yardling soccer team travels to M.I.T. this afternoon for a 3:30 p.m. match with the M.I.T. freshmen. Harvard has had little trouble with the Engineers in the past, and the Yardlings are coming off an 8-0 rout of a highly touted Boston University team.

Freshman coach Dana Getchel expects little trouble today. "Judging from what I've seen over the years, and from the scores so far this year. I think we're probably three or four goals better than them." he said.

"We've had a pretty good week and I've been able to work on skills. We still have a problem getting all the kids out at once." Getchel added.

This is the Yardlings first away game. and M.I.T.'s unusually narrow field may pose a slight problem to the high-powered Crimson offense, which scored its last 15 goals in two games. Getchel is still unsure of his starting line-up and hopes to get a look at his reserves today.

The Yardlings trounced Tufts, 7-1, in their opening game of the season.
