If last night's kickoff skit is any indication, Freshman Jubilee weekend will be boisterous, messy, disorganized, and fun. To announce the plans for the weeked and promote ticket sales, the Jubilee committee and the freshman council put on a nonsensical skit which ended with the floor of the Union covered by olives and chocolate syrup.
The weekend will consist of a cruise and dance on Boston Harbor on Friday night, a trip to Fort Warren Island in Mass Bay on Saturday, and a Saturday night concert at Back Bay theatre featuring the Lovin' Spoonful. The Freshman Council hopes to get an extension of parietals on Saturday night.
The Jubilee committee will put only 550 tickets on sale for the freshman class of 1200. Freshman Council President John D. Hanify said that space on the boat for the Friday night excurision is limited.
