Seventh-ranked Columbia fell to Davidson, 61-59, in overtime last night in the semi-finals of the NCAA basketball Eastern Regionals. Davidson raced to a ten-point half-time lead, but still had to sink a last-second shot to force the game into overtime. Columbia's 7-0 center Dave Newmark led all scorers with 19 points.
