Two winter sports have elected freshman captains, the Harvard Department of Athletics announced recently.
Tom Tripp, the wrestling captain, has gone through five meets undefeated. A native of Osseo, Minn., he has been called the brightest heavyweight prospect here in 10 years.
John Gillis, a middle distance runner from Michigan, will lead the freshman track team. He is undefeated in five 600-yd. races this Winter.
