Racquetmen Beat Williams, 6-3; Stay Undefeated

Harvard's invincible squash team knocked off Williams College yesterday and moved one step closer to an undefeated season.

Williams, which had defeated Yale earlier this season, provided strong competition before falling to the Crimson racquetmen, 6-3.

To no one's surprise, Harvard's "fantastic four" continued to obliterate their opposition. Anil Nayar, the newly crowned Canadian national champion, smashed his opponent 3-0 before a packed gallery of dazzled Williams students. Larry Terrell, Jose Gonzalez, and captain Rick Stern polished off their opponents with similar ease.

John Whitbeck and Michelle Scheinmann, playing the number five and six respectively, had trouble adjusting to the fast Williams courts. They both fell in straight games.

Fernando Gonzales, playing at the number seven slot, dropped his first match of the season. Down 2-0 in games, he came back to tie the score only to lose a heart-breaking fifth game 18-17.
