Radcliffe Student Dies in Collision

Diane H. Wagner '67, of 36 Dana Street and Phoenix, Ariz., died last Wednesday in Cambridge City Hospital from brain injuries sustained in a high-speed twocar collision.

She was injured Tuesday night when a police cruiser chasing a fleeing auto thief smashed into her small Triumph sports car at the intersection of Harvard and Dana Streets. The collision hurled her through the windshield and 20 feet down the road.

Patrolman Injured

Patrolman William Coughlin, driver of the cruiser, suffered multiple cuts and chest injuries. He is reported to be in "fair" condition at Cambridge City Hospital.

It could not be learned yesterday if the patrol car's siren was on at the time of the collision.
