A group of about ten Harvard Law students have formed an ad hoc committee to coordinate anti-war activities at the Law School.
The group will focus on specific projects in an effort to combat a "great deal of Law School lethargy," according to Richard Turbin, a second-year law student and principal organizer of the committee.
He said that the "amorphous group" included both those who believe in working within the social and legal system, and those who supported civil disobedience.
Robert J. Reinstein, a third-year law students and the office manager of the Cambridge Neighborhood Committee on Vietnam, has recruited canvassers through the committee. Two first-year students, Jeffrey Petrocelli and Saul Shapiro, channeled their efforts to mobilize law students for the last demonstration in Washington through the committee.
An open meeting of Law School faculty and students has been called for tomorrow.
