The Super Bowl was so beautiful and so American. From the moment the announcer said, "Let fly the birds of peace," and thousands of birds were let flown, we knew we were in store for something poetic.
And the game was perfect football. Why, it was two separate games. The first half was as close as close can be. The Packers had only a 14-10 lead. Then the second half settled the age-old controversy.
