Two University Health Service doctors are studying the health problems that Harvard students and faculty have had abroad.
Findings will be reported in an article by Dr. Curtis Prout, chief of medicine to the UHS, and Dr. Eleanor G. Shore, assistant physician to the UHS. The study will summarize information gathered through questionnaires sent to 800 people inoculated for foreign travel.
Dr. Shore will also lead a course on prevention and self-treatment of illnesses for travellers who expect to be in areas where medical care is unavailable. It begins April 19.
