The Harvard wrestling team concludes a lackluster season today against a weak Yale squad in New Haven.
The Crimson, with three of its best wrestlers starting at one class below their regular season weights, should have little difficulty squaring its record at five wins and five losses with a win over the Bulldogs.
Yale, with a 2-7 record for the year, has defeated only Princeton and Brown, teams that Harvard handled easily. The Ell's best wrestler is sophomore Ken Haltenhoff at 167 pounds. "Haltenhoff is really a fine wrestler, but he has two had knees, so he's a doubtful starter," said Harvard Couch Bob Pickett.
The probable starting lineup for Harvard will be Howle Henjyoji at 123,Tom Gilmore at 130, Howie Durfee at 137, Ed Franquemont at 147, Dave Worcester at 157, Jeff Grant at 167, Chris Wickens at 177, Captain Ben Brooks at 191, and Tack Chance at heavyweight. Gilmore, Durfee, and Franquemont wrestled at 137, 147, and 157 respectively for most of the season.
