Williams to Be Basketball Captain

Barry Williams has been elected captain of the Harvard basketball team for the 1965-66 season.

The 6-5 junior from Mt. Vernon, N.Y., succeeds Leo Scully as Crimson captain.

Williams has scored 438 points in his two-year varsity career although his productivity was severely curtailed by the high-post offense which Coach Floyd Wilson employed this season.

Williams' main contribution to the Crimson is rebounding, and he is a sure thing to set an all-time Harvard record next year. This season he grabbed 254 (including a remarkable 22 against Springfield), bringing his career total to 476. The Harvard record, set by Bryant Danner in 1960, is 590.
