4 Winter Teams Swing Back Into Action

Game time: 8:30 p.m.

The varsity hockey team has a home game against Colby Saturday and it may not be as easy as the Colby game traditionally is.

The White Mules have been stuck around the .500 mark all year, and they play in a league that's somewhat slower than Harvard's. But on occasion they can be tough; they led Dartmouth 3-1 earlier this month before losing, 4-3.

It should be the last easy game for a while for Harvard; on Monday the Crimson enters the first round of the Beanpot Tournament in Boston. Next Saturday is the Princeton game and this one is crucial; if the Crimson, currently 0-3 in Ivy League play, is going to win a league game this year, it will probably be against Princeton.

Except for the Beanpot games, the Colby game will be Harvard's last this season outside the Ivy League.

Dennis McCullough, a sophomore wing, leads the team's scorers with six goals and three assists in 11 games. Baldy Smith also had nine points, and Jorge Gonzales. Ken Burnes, and Pete Waldinger are tied with eight.
