The deadline for the Fourth Annual Poetry Competition is July 24. Entries should be submitted to the social director, 4 Matthews Hall, in triplicate and typed double-spaced.
Winners will receive $25, $15, and $10 prizes, and will read their work in the Lamont Forum Room August 5. The Summer News will publish the winning poems.
The three judges, members of the Summer School faculty, will choose the winners on the basis of the general quality of a body of work. Each poem should be identified with the poet's pen name. A sealed envelope with the nom de plume on the outside and the poet's name and address inside should accompany the entry.
