A C FOR A' THAT?

The Mail

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

A C in an undergraduate course means the student is no better or worse than anyone else. A C in a graduate course is a professor's vote that the student leave school. But what is a C in a course for seniors and graduate students?

Why not use a single scale in all classes and change to the requirement that graduate students maintain a C average? It would eliminate silly grade juggling and the hard feelings that go with it. Susan Tideman
