The RGA Legislature will consider a proposal for the creation of a "political action foundation" at its meeting today. The foundation was proposed at the RGA's September Cedar Hill Conference, but its role has not yet been clearly defined.
Proponents of the plan stress the need for a third alternative midway between PBH and the strongly partisan political organizations now extant.
A second faction, however, maintains that such a foundation would be super flous and points out the difficulties of selecting appropriate projects and of determining the degree of political involvement to be tolerated.
RGA president Stephanie L. Krebs '65 conceives the foundation as similar in structure to the Phillips Brooks House Association--with a board of directors consisting of both students and faculty members.
