It is indeed difficult to discover why people go to mixers. Nonetheless, they do, and with embarrassing amounts of enthusiasm. So great, in fact, is the desire for mixers that no summer school worth its tuition would be complete without one.
Harvard's summer school is certainly worth its tuition and more as it sponsors a series of mixers. The first of these gala, officially-sanctioned occasions takes place tonight, from 8:30 p.m. to midnight. On the hallowed and splintered floor of Memorial Hall you can prance to the enchanting strains of George Graham and his orchestra for a paltry 50 cents admission assessment. Privilege cards, of course, are mandantory.
