The Harvard-Radcliffe Chapter of the Society of the Sigma XI will initiate new members before a dinner at the Faculty Club tonight.
The proceedings will begin at 6 p.m. with sherry and greetings from Dean Ford. After dinner William G. Field, graduate student of Geology and chief of the crystal growth section of the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories, will give an illustrated lecture on "Recent Advances in the Study of Crystal Growth," and R. Gordon Wasson, research fellow in the Botanical Museum, will speak on "Recent Discoveries in the Area of Mexican Hallucinogenic Plants."
