The residents a call of Taps last night at 10 p.m. by promptly extinguishing their lights. "We think that Radcliffe girls would be healthier if they got to bed at a reasonable hour," one Briggs girl explained.
On the stroke of the hour Taps sounded from the Briggs dining room and was repeated a few moments later. Every light in the building was out within seven seconds following the echo. A few Briggs girls were seen outside shortly afterwards, but retired immediately when told of the time.
