Radcliffe Elects Reiser As New RGA President

Lois Reiser '64 has been elected president of the Radcliffe Government Association.

Other officers, announced last night, are Stephanie L. Krobs '65, vice-president; Lynn Sargent '65, secretary; Maxine S. Paisner '66, treasurer; Marian C. Bennett '66, first NSA delegate; Lois R. Goodman, '66, second NSA delegate; and Emily L. Delman '65, nominating committee chairman.

About 600 out of 1100 students voted in the election.

Miss Reiser, contacted by phone last night, explained that she would like to see, in the coming year, "a greater use of the House system" at Radcliffe. "The House system and RGA should work together," she said.

The new officers will be instituted this afternoon at an RGA meeting to be held at Cabot Hall at 5 p.m. Proposals regarding penalties for junior and senior rule violations will be discussed.

Probably the most controversial issue to come up before RGA this year will be a proposal that juniors and seniors be permitted to sign out of their dormitories without indicating either their destination or their probable time of return.
