Mosbacher and Another Cup

Emil "Bus" Mosbacher, skipper of the victorious Weatherly in last year's America's Cup challenge, presents the trophy for the first Ivy League championship to Carter G. Ford '63, captain of the Crimson sailing team.

Crimson sailers walked off with nine other trophies at the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association's annual dinner in Boston Saturday night. David A. Gantz '64, a member of the Crimson sailing team, was elected the new president of NEISA.

Mosbacher, in addition to presenting the trophy named in his honor for the new Ivy League championship, spoke briefly of his experiences with the Weatherly during the Cup races and narrated film sequences of various races against the Australian challenger, Gretel.

The films of the America's Cup races will be shown at Harvard on Wednesday night at the Harvard Yachting Club's annual dinner. They will be narrated by George O'Day, a member of Mosbacher's crew and former Harvard sailing captain.
