Pile of Foreign Books Picked Up by Police

A mysterious load of about 20 books "in a foreign language" has been turned in to the Cambridge Police. "Not tied or in any other way connected," the books were found together on Massachusetts Avenue near Harvard Square, presumably in a .

Cambridge police have made this discovery known to Harvard, Radcliffe, and M.I.T. officials. They were not is a position to say whether the books were literature or not, because, "Well, they're in this foreign language..." They will be turned over to any student who can identify the language.

The officer in charge of the police Property Office reported that the books were not new, but that they had "rg's" labels in them.
