Members of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra will leave tomorrow night for a four-day rehearsal session in New Hampshire before starting on their trip to Mexico. The orchestra has been given a music camp site where the students will "practice like mad," HRO conductor Michael C. Senturia '58 said.

Before crossing the border, the HRO will play two concerts in Texas--in Dallas June 20 and in Houston June 21. Then begins the orchestra's seven-week tour of Mexican cities.

A gift from the Department of State of an unreleased amount pushed the total of funds raised from private contributions over the needed $50,000 mark. One of the main objects of the trip, HRO officials said, is to provide culturally valuable contact with the Mexican people.

Over half the concerts will feature Mexican soloists or conductors in co-operation with the Harvard-Radcliffe group. There will also be two joint concerts with Mexican orchestras, and Senturia will give several lecture-demonstrations with members of the HRO in Mexican primary and secondary schools.

The orchestra may play at a luncheen to be given at the American Embassy in Mexico City by President Kennedy for Mexico's president Mateos. Luis Herrers de is Fuento, conductor of the Mexioan National Symphony Orchestra, will lead the HRO in a concert, July 9, at the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico City.
