Golf Squad Will Meet Tiger, Bruin Teams

All the putts will have to drop this afternoon as the varsity golf team goes into one of its most crucial matches of the season against Princeton and Brown on the Myopia Hunt Club course.

Princeton is the defending Eastern Intercollegiate champ and whipped the Crimson 7-0 last spring. Even though Princeton lost five of its starting seven last June, the Tigers are considered one of the toughest golf teams in New England. Brown, on the other hand, should not offer too much resistance to the improving Harvard seven which defeated Williams and Boston College by the identical scores of 5-2 on Wednesday.

Teeing off for the varsity at 1:30 will be John Livingood, Bruce Johnstone, Bob Holton, Dave Rudnick, Stan Abrams, Bob Seelert, and Herb Wollan Coach "Cooney" Welland might decide to inject George Duffy into one of the last two slots.
