The squash team collected another win Wednesday afternoon, defeating Williams 8 to 1. Only one match now stands between the Crimson and an undefeated season, but this contest will be against Yale--boasting a team that is very possibly the best in the East.
Though the score against Williams was somewhat lopsided, the match was no pushover. Only two Crimson players, Jay Nelson at number six and John Thorndike at number eight, were able to defeat their opponents in consecutive games.
Harvard's only loser was John Vinton, who dropped a four-game match to Phil Goddard at number seven--15-12, 9-15, 15-12, 5-15, and 17-15.
In the number one match, the Crimson's Vic Niederhoffer defeated John Botts by 15-13, 13-15, 15-10 and 15-12. Paul Sullivan beat Greg Shaw at number two in four games, losing only the first.
