$50 Million Complex Countway Library is a major link The library will house over 450,000 volumes; the combined collections of the Boston Medical Library and the Harvard Medical Library. The new facilities will also serve the School of Dental Medicine and the School of Public Health. The two top floors of the Library will provide a physicians' reading room for members of the Massachusetts Medical Society, the editorial offices of the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and a suite devoted to a collection of rare medical books.
