The unbeaten Crimson won its fourth straight swimming victory with a 58-35 win at Dartmouth Saturday.

Following the varsity clash, Dave Abramson, captain of the Crimson freshmen, set a new University record in the 440-yard freestyle. His time of 4:36.6 knocked 1.6 seconds off the former record.

The Crimson Yardlings won, 58 to 35.

In the varsity's convincing victory, John Pringle added to his credit a Dartmouth pool record in the 200-yard individual medley. Pringle's time of 2:07.3 bettered the former mark by two seconds.

The versatile Crimson swimmer also won the backstroke and swam in the winning 400-yard medley relay quartet with Bill Chadsey, Jim Coffman, and Bob Kaufmann. In the individual medley. Pringle won by a body length over Jerome Bentley, the Indians' highly regarded double threat.

Bentley won the butterfly in 2:08.3 (a Dartmouth College record), but only two teammates and the Big Green freestyle relay team were able to join him with first places for Dartmouth.

After Bob Kaufmann's anchor leg gave the Crimson its opening medley relay win, freestyler Bill Zentgraf came through with an expected first in the 220. Winner of the freestyle sprint was Crimson sophomore Dennis Hunter, brother of former Olympian 50-yard freestyler, Bruce '61.
