Adolph W. Samborski '25, director of Intramural Athletics and coach of freshman baseball, has been named assistant athletic director, according to a report in the Boston Globe yesterday.
Samborski refused to comment last night; Athletic Department officials were unavailable for confirmation of the story.
Reportedly, Floyd s. Wilson, now varsity basketball coach and assistant director of Physical Training, will succeed Samborski in directing the House and Freshman intramural athletic program.
Resigning as assistant director is Donald M. Felt '52, who took over the HAA business operations two years ago. There had been speculation that his successor would either serve a brief interim post or be groomed as the future Director of Athletics.
The Globe story, by Arthur Siegel, gave no source for its report.
