One of the front-running contenders for the Eastern Sprints Championship will be racing for the Adams Cup on the Charles Saturday in what will be one of the heavyweight crew's toughest races of the year. Both Harvard and Penn will have a hard time catching the undefeated contingent from Navy.

The race starts at 6 p.m.

The heavies will be putting a 2-1 record on the line against Penn and the Midshipmen. The Crimson opened with a victory over Syracuse, but line-up juggling a is Stengel by Coach Harvey Love resulted first in a loss to Cornell and Rutgers, then in victory in the race for the Compton Cup last Saturday.

Love will probably stick with the surprise line-up which gave Harvard its unexpected victory over M.I.T., Princeton, and Dartmouth last weekend. After a brief try at number six oar, Captain Perry Boyden has been reinstated at stroke, but the new line-up features only one other varsity letterman, Luke Breck-inridge, at number three oar.

The rest of the crew will probably consist of four juniors and two sophomores, all in their first year of varsity competition, with senior Jim Rosenstein calling the signals as cox.

Love does not anticipate any more wholesale changes for a while. "Things have pretty well sorted themselves out now," he declared recently, "although I'll still make any changes I think will help us become better."
