Harvard law students may soon join Cliffies for dinner in the dorms. The possibility of a meal exhange program between Harkness Commons and Radcliffe is being studied by Radcliffe's SGA and Sophomore Class Committee.

Harkness students would "love to meet Radcliffe girls," but they have little time other than meals to become acquainted, according to Emily R. Otis '62, SGA president. Thus, a meal exhancge program is the "logical solution" to the problem.

"Not only would 'Cliffe dinner talk be more intelligent and interesting" but the girls would learn more about "law cases and such," Miss Otis pointed out.

Although Dean Brown has not been formally approached, the girls expect the program to be accepted if it is proposed because a similar one between Radcliffe graduates and undergraduates is already in effect. Any Radcliffe graduate student may eat in the 'Cliffe dorms by securing a pass from the Head Resident. 'Cliffe undergrads may also eat in the Graduate Refectory.

The SGA unanimously voted to look into the meal exchange program when it was pointed out that the program may be the entering wedge to unrestricted meal priveleges for 'Cliffes at the Harvard Houses.

The Administration is currently working on a proposal which would allow 'Cliffies to eat at Houses free of charge on occasions.
