Cadets Down Crimson in Tough JV Contest

Out-weighed and out-manned. Harvard's JV's suffered a 30-0 defeat at the hands of the west Point JV Squad yesterday at Cambridge.

Army capitalized on superior depth and as explosive running attack to give the Harvard club its second set-back of the season.

Art Lozeau, brother of Harvard center Dick Lozeau, scored Army's first two touchdowns. The first came on a spectacular 85 yard romp down the sidelines after Lozeau had staggored away from several tacklers on a sweep play.

The third Army TD was set up on a 41 yard pass play from quarterback Joe Doolittle to Dick Seiler, the lonely end. Another dramatic pass, this one for 48 yards, from Doolittle to Perdew, gave the Cadets a comfortable 24-0 lead midway through the third period.

>Halfback Bill clark was responsible for the final Army tally, as he turned consecutive runs of 43, 6, 5, and 2 yards.

Harvard only approached the West Point end zone once, and that was in the fourth period.

The JV's close their season next Friday against Yale.
